We are opening an angel round for business angels who want to take Langer from a working prototype to a public launch.
The problem
Millions of people in Europe live, love and work across a language barrier: families split between countries, newcomers, cross-border teams. Video calls connect them but don’t translate; translator apps handle phrases, not conversations. So people copy-paste, wait for someone to translate, or stay silent.
Why now
Speech recognition, AI translation and natural-sounding voices have crossed the quality line for everyday conversation, and their cost keeps falling. What used to be a research demo can now live inside a messenger.
What exists
A working prototype with translated chats, translated voice calls and a voice translator in four languages, on a real-time backend that can switch AI providers. A web app is in development.
Vision
A messenger where language simply stops mattering — first for families and newcomers in the Baltics, then across Europe and for the organisations that serve them.

When does the beta start?
We are inviting testers in waves, starting as soon as the app is ready for everyday use. Sign up and we will email you when it is your turn — we won’t send anything else.
Which languages are supported?
Lithuanian, Russian, Ukrainian and English, in every direction. We will add languages based on demand — tell us which ones you need when you sign up.
How good is the translation?
Modern AI translation is very good for everyday conversation, but it is not perfect. That is why Langer always keeps the original one tap away. For legal or medical decisions, please use a certified interpreter.
How is Langer different from a translator app?
Translator apps are great for one-off phrases. Langer is where the conversation itself happens: your contacts, chats and calls, translated both ways automatically, with the original always there. No more copy-pasting between a translator and your messenger.
Which devices will it work on?
We are building for iPhone, Android and the web. Tell us which one you use when you sign up.
Does it cost anything?
Taking part in the beta is free. After the launch we plan to keep a free tier and offer paid plans for heavier voice use.
What happens to my data?
This website uses no cookies and no trackers. Your sign-up is used only to contact you about Langer, and you can ask us to delete it at any time. The app will get its own privacy policy before the beta.
